How-to's How to install Linux on Windows with WSL
1. Enable this following windows features
  • Virtual Machine Platform
  • Windows Subsystem for Linux
2. Restart your computer to apply the changes3. List the available Linux distributions
  1. wsl --list --online
The following is a list of valid distributions that can be installed.
Install using 'wsl --install -d <Distro>'.

4. Download and install the Linux kernel update package (To avoid error 0x800701bc)

5. Install the Ubuntu 20.04 distribution
  1. wsl --install --distribution Ubuntu-20.04

6. Update and upgrade the packages
  1. sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
